Educational Visits/School Tours

Ballindoolin House & Gardens are ideal for Educational Visits, School Trips and Tours for school children of all agesAt Ballindoolin House and Gardens we offer guided Nature Tours and Heritage Tours during Spring and Autumn. These are especially suited for Educational Visits or School Tours and are categorised for school children of three different age groups.

  • Children Up to age five

  • Children aged from five to seven

  • Children aged from seven to nine

Ballindoolin House and Gardens has different habitats which provide numerous opportunities for educational study and fun:

  • Farmyard Animals

  • Walled Garden

Also on site:

  • Wormery

  • Colouring in table

  • Bozo the Clown (a professional clown)

Each tour takes aprox 1½ hours and after booking, you will receive information to prepare your class for the visit.

Tour leaders qualify for free admission on a ratio of a minimum of 1 adult per 10 children and we request that the adults/teachers accompanying the groups remain with their parties at all times.
